Every time a book is adapted in a movie or television program, this entails a predictable discussion: one of the two sides will tell you that adaptation is terrible if he does not follow the new word of the word, while the other will argue that he only needs to capture the “spirit” of the source material.
I remember reading Percy Jackson And Olympic: Lightning thief as a class in the elementary school. After that, we went on a field trip to the stage to watch the movie. While we were leaving, I noticed that she was not sure that the script book was reading the book.
I wanted to see the number of times Hollywood is adaptations that are completely different from their source materials. As it turns out, they do it frequently, but surprisingly, often, modifications are better than their books.
Let’s start with movies and between shows that somehow managed to turn into better than books. (I got most of the suggestions from this Reddit topicWith a few of that additional from me.)
