PC modding repository Nexus Mods has a new owner

Nexus Mods, a website known to host Mods for thousands of computer games, has been delivered to new ownership, according to the former owner Robin “Dark0ne” Scott.
“After months of meetings, faces face to face, and a lot of searching for the soul, I am pleased to say that I really think I found the right people for the mission,” Scott says in a post. Posted on Monday.
Scott, who launched the project in 2001, says that the site “was my entire life” and that “the strain of being responsible for the giant that you created” has affected. He realized that he was burning and that he needed to bring a new leadership.
Scott did not specify who is the owner or the new owners, and the company did not immediately respond to a request for the commentary to the address of its email support. However, users will see more of two people, determine Scott “as” “Vulinho (Victor) and “and”Rapsak (Marinus), “Because” they come on board to lead this next chapter, “says Scott. On the site, society and the future we are trying to build here.”
Although the site has changed, Scott says, “This is not some” exit “for companies or a rear deal. Instead, “I am doing something that I might have had been doing for years: care for myself. Restore some of the head space. Finally, I leave the idea that I should do everything and be responsible for everything myself.”
Scott will also remain a presence. He says: “I still disturb people unlike the author of the Ministry of Defense, and they are lying in the forums, and I raise my nose on the matters of society when I cannot help myself,” he says. It will work with the team “to help direct the general trend of the site.”
