2025 MEXICO Riviera Maya Open: Chisato Iwai wins for first LPGA victory

The LPGA tour spent the week preparing for the second place in the season in the United States Open Women’s Championship next week, and they did so in the south of the border in the Mexico Rivera Maya Championship in 2025.
Japan Chisato Iwai appeared victorious at the end of 12 below. She finished six incredible shots from her rising colleague Jenny Bay. This is the second best 25 -year -old in her career, so the future of the tour seems bright.
As far as it comes to the winner, it is clear that IWAI has doubled the second best result. She did this in the sporting sense beyond Sunday as she had today’s round in 6 less. Five birds came to the introduction 9 and opened their back with another. The IWAI actually got 13 years after 13 years (appropriately), but anomalous 14 after returning to 12 under and unifying her way home to win.
Sunday tour of Cisato Iway:
- 8 out of 14 pathways hit
- 25 total
- 13 of 18 vegetables in the organization
- 258 yards average driving distance
IWAI is the twelfth winner of this season and the third ascending alongside Rio Takaida and Einger Lindled. This is the first time in a decade, three juniors have won a tour before the May conclusion, which already indicates that the future will be fun.
A player from Japan won the first Mau Sigo in the Chevron Championship. IWAI makes the third of the season as Rio Takeda is also from Japan.
After that, as mentioned, open to women in Eren Hills, and if this season so far is any indicator … it will be very exciting.
