“Lisa: a really wonderful true story”, which was first shown at the Tribeca Film Festival last summer and is currently playing in selected theaters, providing an intimate look at the rise and landing in the famous Lisa Minile profession and how, in her eyes, not everything – though Of all its many successes.
Through novels from friends and through archive clips, the film reveals that her greatest disappointment in life was her inability to obtain a family of her own, because of her experiences with many difficult abortion over the past four marriages.
“I strongly want a family. I really want a family,” she said, saying to Geraldo Rivera in an archive interview.
Alan Lazar, a performance friend, touches Mennei’s heartbreak due to the lack of children in the documentary, saying: “We were with Lisa through all emotional setbacks, such as miscarriage.”
“If you have to choose one thing, you are disappointed in her life, this is not a mother,” Lazar says. “She was a great mother. She had a lot to advance. She was great with our children.”
Another friend, actress Mia Farrow, goes to Minily’s close relationship with her children, and how great with them.
“It is a 50 -year -old godmother, who is now 50 years old, and never missed a birthday,” she says.
Although the children were not having children, one of her friends, Michael Vincenin, says in the documentary that her relationship with the children of her close friends brought the star’s comfort.
“Although she was not able to have her children, she seems to have created her family through all the children who entered her life and all children,” he says.
“She would have made an incredible mother, life was not perfect, but she moved, and she became part of our family. I think this is part of our attractiveness to her. We have maintained this association with a kind of family that she did not have,” she added.
