Jets reportedly hiring ex-Cardinals head coach Steve Wilks as next defensive coordinator

Steve Wilkes returned to the game.

The former Arizona Cardinal coach made a deal to become the new defensive coordinator with New York Gates on Wednesday afternoon, according to Tom Peckiro from the American Football Association network.

He will join the planes under the leadership of the new coach Aaron Glenn, who was appointed four years after a defensive coordinator in Detroit Lyons.
