Current employee from Phenix Suns Laying a lawsuit against the team in the US local court in Arizona on Tuesday, citing the allegations of discrimination, harassment and revenge, according to a copy of the complaint obtained by ESPN.

The lawsuit is the fourth filed against Sanz by a current or former member of the organization in the past seven months.

The last lawsuit was filed by lawyers representing Jin Trailor, Safety, Security and Risk Management Director of Sanz who joined the team in January 2023.

In the complaint, Trailor says one of his main roles is to determine the financial, financial and reputation risks to the Suns. In 2023, traylor made a management offer, which was reviewed by ESPN, who made clear incidents, including these three:

  • In March 2023, it was found that a formerly known part -time employee had stolen more than $ 40,000 of shoes, goods and clothes while working.

  • In April 2023, a “indignant topic” interrupted a class with the team’s executives, including team leader Josh Partchtein.

  • In June 2023, a former political influential influence Phoenix Mercury Player Britney Grener At Dallas Airport/Fort Worth, delaying a team trip for 3 and a half hours.

Traylor claims that the presentation resulted in the revenge of the Suns Management against it, including its license nearly a year later. He also claims that the team stopped him from taking a protected leave after diagnosing cancer.

In their response to ESPN, Sheri Sheri Wright, a lawyer representing Trailer. The other is Courtney Walters.

“The Supreme Court of Arizona has two times the discipline of lawyer Sherry Wright for committing many violations of the rules of professional behavior, and she is currently taking two years monitoring with the Arizona state tape,” ESPN spokeswoman said on Thursday.

“This time, Mrs. Wright and her client have taken ridiculous accusations of the misconduct surrounding the Phoenix Senz Administration. These allegations are categorically fake and wrong.”

In a joint statement of ESPN, Walt Wallets said on Thursday that Suns “resorted to personal and definitive attacks” against Wright in “a transparent and calculated attempt to change the general narration, discredit the concerned lawyers, and avoid accountability for their misconduct.”

The lawsuit states that on December 17, 2023, the National Defense Office of the Ministry of Police conducted a field test for security measures in the Senz Square during the game. Lainclothes officers have tried to enter the arena with a good game tickets while hiding weapons. Two of the officers were able to bring a knife to the non -discovered square.

On December 3, 2024, officers from the same department conducted another field test for security measures and successfully brought one pistol and knife through security.

ESPN received reports of both field tests.

“The safety of the guests is our top priority,” Suns spokeswoman told ESPN on Thursday. “We continue to meet and overcome safety expectations. We regularly conduct security tests, which are standard throughout the industry. We have used these pre -emptive measures to ensure our work at the highest level of safety and preparation.”

The lawsuit said that in February 2025, the American Professional League conducted its security audit of the team’s yard, and Sanz failed in this test as well. Trailor said that the review was a surprise – one of the league performed regularly in the squares throughout the American Professional League – and not in response to any fears that it raised or to the February 2024 test that SUNS said.

Since 2024, the team has failed in many security audits in the league, according to three ESPN sources.

Sanz is opposed to this claim, saying that they did not fail to conduct a security audit.

Trayalor, who submitted complaints to the United States Employment Opportunities Committee and the Civil Law Department of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Arizona in November 2024, is seeking unannounced compensation.

“We have witnessed the civil complaint that was submitted on Tuesday and we will let the legal process take its path,” Mike Pass, a spokesman for the American Professional League for ESPN.

There were three recent lawsuits by former Suns who claim discrimination. All lawsuits were filed in the American provincial court in Arizona.

Andrea Treeshan, who was the director of the SUNS program for diversity, fairness and integration from September 2022 to July 2023, File a lawsuit against the team in November 2024Quoting the allegations of harassment, racial discrimination, revenge and illegal ending. Trichan is looking for $ 60 million.

In March, Jason Cope, a former member of the Sanzfashis division for the team since 2009, filed a lawsuit against the team, saying that it was classified as an independent contract, and the benefits and additional work were deprived of it. A cup, 46 years old, a discrimination of the alleged age and that about half of the other Suns were transferred from a similar or older age to the contractor while the team rented younger employees as full -time employees. Cope is looking for undeclared compensation.

In April, an unknown employee – he was identified in a lawsuit only in the name of Jin -Du – the alleged and nationalized discrimination, sexual harassment and revenge by a former CEO executive. The former unknown employee is looking for unannounced damage.

“The common denominator is Sherry Wright. She is trying to extort the Sun’s organization,” ESPN spokeswoman said on Thursday. “Mrs. Wright continues to recruit former and current employees now and manipulate them to file letters.”

“These are not mysterious accusations. They are specific and detailed and supported by witnesses, documentation and confirmation of evidence.”

Also in April, Vicente Gonzalez, who rented the crew of a “team member relations specialist” in November 2024, claimed misconduct within the organization in a public publication in LinkedIn.

In this position that has been deleted since then about the team, Gonzales wrote that he raised fears of employees about management and leadership behavior.

“I have been silent,” said Gonzales. “I was told not to share specific negative information I received when it’s time to report. When I tried to create a more efficient process to conduct investigations, I was not supported and my thoughts were not seen. The institution has no system or system to count the treatment of concerns appropriately throughout the institution.”

The group of lawsuits against Sanz comes after the organization sought to reform its culture in the workplace in the wake of an investigation into the American Professional League after the ESPN in November 2021 in the Sanz and Misposes claims by former Malik Sanz Robert Sarv.

The American Professional League investigation announced its results in September 2022. The league demonstrated the ESPN reports – with the description of misconduct among some senior executives in Sarv – and Sarv’s fine of $ 10 million while hanging for one year.

Besides Sarv’s penalty in September 2022, which later announced that month that he would sell the Senez and Phoenix Mercury in WNBA, the league also imposed to ask Suns to comply with a series of standards and requirements for the workplace over a period of three years, which will achieve the period in which the team may face the last laws of employees.

Among them, the team had to report cases or allegations of “great misconduct by any employee”, and the team’s efforts to address these incidents.

“There were major challenges with culture under previous ownership,” ESPN spokeswoman said on Thursday. “We are very proud of the work we did to create a new culture under the leadership of Matt Ishbia. We are in complete compliance.”

Mat Ishbia, a mortgage lender billionaire and CEO of UNICALESALE Mortgage, bought a 57 % sessible share in Suns for $ 2.28 billion, The sources previously told ESPN.

On February 8, 2023, before Istia was officially presented during a press conference as the new owner of the team, he met with Suns.

“I want to make this the best place to work,” Ishbia told them, like Espn mentioned at that time. “I want to get great people to join. I want to train and train them to be the best version of themselves and treat them well so that they don’t want to leave.

“… everything about people. People are everything. This is the most important thing. Without great people, without people who care, you don’t have anything. So we will start with culture and team.”
