Doechii blasts Trump administration’s ‘ruthless attacks’ in LA amid Ice raids | Los Angeles Ice protests

The rapper Dushi turned the admission letter at the Bet Awards ceremony on Monday evening into a strong invitation to achieve justice because it criticized the Trump administration’s deployment of the military forces on the demonstrators in Los Angeles.
The Grammy winner used the theater to highlight the immigration and protest raids that occur miles away from the place where the ceremony took place in Los Angeles.
After receiving the award for the best hip-hop-Bet first award ever-DOECHII approved her colleagues, then transferred the spotlight to the issues that are revealed outside the place.
“There are harsh attacks that create fear and chaos in our societies in the name of law and order,” said Duchi, who won the Best Rap Award, only the third woman who wins in this category.
The bet was held with the collapse of tensions throughout Los Angeles after a weekend of protest against the immigration raids that took place on Friday, With dozens of people I was arrested. On Monday, Donald Trump authorized the publication of 2000 additional National Guard members in response to the protests, thus the total number of guards deployed in the city to more than 4,100.
“Trump is using the military forces to stop the protest,” Douche said in her speech. “I want all of you to think of any kind of government that it seems that every time we exercise our democratic right to protest, the army is deployed against us. What is the type of government?”
DOECHII’s words sparked an audience at the Peacock Theater, where direct prizes were broadcast.
“People are clouded and mixed with their families,” I continued. “I feel that it is my responsibility as an artist to use this moment to speak to all persecuted people … We all deserve to live in hope or fear. I hope we stand together.”
Doshi also delivered her message as the demonstrations continued in Los Angeles and cities throughout the United States, including New Yorkand Chicagoand Dallas and San Francisco. In the downtown of Los Angeles on Monday evening, the law was seen pushing several hundreds of demonstrators east via Little Tokyo with the approaching night.
The officers, who seemed to be all of the Los Angeles Police Department, used flash explosions and opened fire on the crowd while pushing the demonstrators through a crowded and popular commercial area where passers -by and restaurant workers rushed out of their way. Some demonstrators set out fireworks and threw water bottles at the officers, screaming “shame!” Or chanting, “ice from Los Angeles”.
California leaders condemned Trump’s actions as inflammatory. Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, criticized the deployment of the National Guard and the Marines as a “deliberate attempt” by the Trump administration “to create turmoil and chaos in our city.
“I feel that we are part of an experience that we have not asked to be part of it,” Bass said on Monday.
