Senate to begin voting marathon on Republican agenda bill

The Senate is expected to start a vote today in the Republican Reconciliation Law aimed at financing many of the Trump agenda. During this process, legislators will consider an unlimited number of proposed amendments to the legislation, which is called “the Beautiful Grand Law”.
The majority of the Senate John Paraso, R and Yiu, told the members that they would start the operation at 9 am, after the room spent most of the weekend in the progress of legislation through procedural holes.
The proposed amendments are unlikely to be added to the draft law, especially those presented by the Democrats, to the legislation, which was strongly negotiated to ensure that the Republicans obtain a sufficient number of votes to pass it. However, Democrats can take advantage of the process to impose votes that they feel shed light on the non -popular rulings in the draft law.
His spokesman said in a statement that the majority of the Senate’s majority, Chuck Schumer, is planning to use the vote-Rama vote “to highlight the catastrophic effects of the unpopular proposal of the Republican Party.”
The statement said: “The Senate amendments to the Senate will highlight the hypocrisy and destruction of the Republican law, including Republicans who hold health care of millions of Americans and the closure of rural hospitals throughout the country to pay the price of the tax cuts to the wealthy.”
At the same time, the House of Representatives was advised to expect votes on the “big and beautiful bill” early Wednesday morning, given that the Senate is able to pass its copy of the bill. The members of the House of Representatives were previously notified that they obtained a 48 -hour notice before any votes this week.
