Trump threatens to scrap emergency agency Fema | Donald Trump

president Donald Trump On Friday, he said that he would consider signing an executive order for “reform mainly” or may be canceled by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), which criticizes the response to the agency’s disasters during a tour of the affected areas of the hurricane in the western state of North Carolina.

Speaking to the journalists in Atell, Trump described Fema as “not good” and “disaster”, indicating that the agency is ineffective in responding to natural emergency situations.

“I think we will recommend that Fema will disappear,” the president told the complex.

The tour comes four months after Hurricane Helen was subjected to Bonkumb Province, where 42 people were killed and local damage was estimated at more than $ 50 billion. Trump received a briefing on the recovery efforts and met with the affected families during his visit.

Trump suggested that conservatives give more direct responsibility to respond to disasters, indicating that he wants to redirect federal funding directly to the states and not through the Federal Agency.

Fema, with an annual budget in tens of billions of dollars and more than 20,000 employees, will need to close the approval of Congress.

The President is scheduled to continue his tour in the disaster area with his next stop in Los Angeles, where he will wipe the areas damaged in the wilderness in the Pacific Ocean, where nearby fires are still burning in southern California
