President Donald Trump signed on Monday Executive order Taking the United States out Global Health Organizationwhich led to the country being excluded from participation with the specialized United Nations agency responsible for global public health.

“WHO continues to demand unfairly high payments from the United States, which are grossly disproportionate to payments made to other countries,” the order said. “China, with a population of 1.4 billion, has 300% of the population of the United States, yet contributes 90% less to the World Health Organization.”
