Rep Darrell Issa nominates President Donald Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize

Representative Daril Issa, R-R-Calif, announced on Monday in a post on X that he was nominating the president Donald Trump For the Nobel Peace Prize.
“Today I will nominate Realdonaldtrum for the Nobel Peace Prize. No one deserves it more,” Issa announced in the tweet.
Fox News Digital continued to Issa’s office on Tuesday to request a comment from a member of Congress about the reason for his decision to nominate the award for the award.

“Not since Ronald Reagan has better represents the national determination of peace through the strength or basic issue of a world without war,” Issa said in a statement to the digital newspaper Fox News.
“It is striking that Donald Trump’s elections in 2024 – more than 10 weeks before his insults – the issue of peace began in many regions of the world, and we already see the benefits. I hope the committee will notice these extraordinary times and admit that President Trump is perfectly represented by what the presence of Nobel Peace be upon him.”
President Barack Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, less than a year of his first term in his post.

“Donald Trump has played a fundamental role in facilitating the first new peace agreements in the Middle East in nearly 30 years,” said a member of Congress, according to a press statement issued in January 2024.
Later in 2024, Tini Trump, the Israeli Prime Minister, nominated Benjamin NetanyahuAnd former Israeli Defense Minister Yov Galen for the award.

She emphasized that “their brave work to combat terrorism and stand in Islamic regulations has led directly to greater regional and global stability,” according to a press statement issued in December 2024.
