The Charity Commission must amend its report on Kids Company | Kids Company

We support the judicial review of the 2022 Charitable Committee report on the children’s company, scheduled for March 19-20. This review is crucial not only to obtain justice for the charity and its founder, Camilla BatmangahHe who died unfortunately on January 1, 2024, but also to support the integrity of the entire charitable sector in the United Kingdom.
In February 2021 The Supreme Court stated unambiguously that the wrong allegations, not operational cases, have closed the children’s company. No evidence was found that violations or misuse were committed. But in it 2022 reportThe Charitable Committee chose not to represent these results accurately, which prompted this judicial review to ensure that the report is consistent with the facts.
In 2014, KIDS, with a team of 600 professionals and 10,000 volunteers, supported vulnerable children through treatment and practical services. The organization filled gaps left by government services, and called for systematic change under the leadership of Camilla Batmangah, Haddah. The tragic closure of the children’s company in 2015 stopped redesigning children’s services through the “See Child, System Change” initiative.
The report of the Charitable Committee raises serious concerns about organizational ethics and neutrality. The report depicts inaccurately depicts the reasons for the closure of the children’s company, and a failure to recognize the harmful influence of the baseless allegations and external pressure on the charity.
For 19 years, Kids Company regularly provided all its audits to the government, thus receiving more funding. We call on the charitable committee to amend its report in line with the results of the Supreme Court of Mrs. Falk at the end of the court case for a period of 10 weeks in February 2021 and a detailed ruling of 225 pages. We seek accountability, transparency and justice from the charitable committee.
