Actor Rolf Saxon is back in action for an unexpected second ‘Mission’

If you will only be in one part of a movie, it is better if the most distinctive part is. For example, an exciting group puts the mold for a full distinction.

So the actor Rolf Sixon, who appeared as a specific analyst for the CIA in “Mission: Impossible”, had the first. The sequence, in which Tom Cruise hangs from the roof of a white cellar room to infiltrate into the computer system that is supervised by a Saxon character, is now historical movement things.

From a defeat line in the 1996 movie – William Dono from Saxon in Saxon to a remote radar station in Alaska – one of the most unexpected stories comes in the new “Mission: Impossible – Final Account.” His role in the new movie is much larger and provides the film some of its emotional weight, making a Saxon return like Donloe victory. (A somewhat unforgettable knife makes return as well.)

As for the work of Saxon in the first movie, he was in the same physical space as Cruise, but their personality never interacted and had no dialogue together. So, a late moment in the new movie when Donlo exposes my heart to Ethan Hunt of Cruise for what his life was such years in Alaska, I have given the character of Donloe – and to the actor who also depicts him.

“It was something I was hoping, then it happened. It is a great scene. Work with one of the world’s largest movie stars, this is also great,” says 70 -year -old.

Finally, the participation of a suitable scene with Cruise Saxon gave some insight about the reason that Cruise was one of the world’s largest movie stars for more than 40 years.

“There is no doubt why he is,” says Saxon. “The energy he brings personally to a room has not seen before. It is focused, it is practicing. I know this looks like it is supposed to say this about him, but this is true. This man is incredible. He does that exciting impressive.”

Sexon also admired, through a realistic journey often. “The reason for his entire existence is to enhance the industry that gave it a lot, bringing people, and returning them to theaters. I menstruate my feet.”

After having a successful profession between “My Mission”, Saxon lives in Sara North California, but he was recently in an enlarged call from New York City per day after attending the first screening of the new movie in the United States there. It was the second time that Saxon watched the movie, as he also attended the first show in London a few days ago.

Sexon was born in Virginia, where he studied acting in England, where he would have obtained spare parts in many British TV series in addition to various films and theater roles. Throughout his career, he also performed an audio video game, including the “Broken Sword” series, and was the narrator of the American version of the famous children’s “Telletubies”.

According to Saxon, many of the works of what Dono does on the screen in the first movie that Brian de Balm did not have an unexpected interaction on the group.

He recalls, “I have received the text program,” I read and thought, well, there is not much to do it here. Then one day I was dealing with the group, and joking, there was some time. And I got a click on the shoulder from the first [A.D.]Who said that Brian de Balma wanted to have a word with me. And I thought, “Oh,”.

“I walked and had a very strict behavior. A great man, but he was always angry and said:“ You are playing in the group. ”I said,“ Yes, Mr. De Palma. ”He said,“ Can you do that again? ”I said,“ Certainly, of course. ”What will I say, no?

The Vault sequence has become one of the collections of features in the first movie, and it appears to be raised by both Silent Seile “Revive” And the spacecraft “2001: A Space Odyssey” A guide focusing on exciting works for the next privilege. To perform the scene, Cruz spent hours a hanging from the ceiling.

“I mean, it was a long time.” “He sometimes brought him up, but he is this man. He does what to do. I was in the room several times with him, while he was filming it, but [our characters] He was not supposed to meet. “

Saxon recalls that while filming the first movie “Mission”, he and Cruise shared a makeup room in England. One day, there was no woman from Cruise makeup there because her son had an accident in his school. Once Cruz heard the news, he called his private doctor upon request and sent him to come to the boy.

He said, “I closed the door,” and said, “I closed the door,” he remembers Sexon. And he said: “This remains between us. If this appears, he is someone in this room. I will discover who is and will be your last day in the movie. “No propaganda wanted. Then, nothing was said about it.

Sexon had never had a reason to face a cruise in the decisive years, because, he says, “I am an actor but I am not a star.”

The call for the new movie came for the first time in January 2022, and Sexon began filming in the film in August of that year, when it ended in July 2024. (Saxon was announced through director Christopher Macquari Instagram in March 2023). In his years in Alaska, even a woman, Talesa (Lucy Tulugarjuk).

“The feeling of this group was warm and comprehensive – welcoming,” says Saxon. “I was about it for nearly three years, but people were on it more than five years ago. This schedule for photography was very irregular, and [McQuarrie] Keep very calm. MCQ and Tom, they worked a lot side by side. I liked the coming to work every day. I did not do it with Brian’s things, but this was just a joy, and I was much more than it than I was in the first one. I was a larger part of the team, the main group that was working. “

For the “final account”, a sequence was launched to happen in Alaska, with a team of agents who reach the remote compartment occupied by Dono and TAPLESA, in Svalbard, a northern Norway archipelago.

“We were staying on a ship,” says Sexon. “We went to Longyearbyen, and it is the most populated population area in the world. Then we rided six hours north on board the ship, stopped on the iceberg. This is where we lived for two weeks. The polar bears, the horse, the ringtone and the United States. It was the most beautiful place I was in my life.”

The sequence of the cave, which is part of the film’s conclusion in South Africa, was set, but filmed in Middleton mines in East Midlands, England.

“This was in many ways the function of dreams,” says Saxon. “The people I work with, the thing I am working on and the places I have to go to work. It is like, what do you really want to do? Here.”

From his initial conversations with Mcquarrie, Sixon knew that his role would be much greater than in the first movie. But until then it has evolved throughout the production. McQuarri told him that some of the scenes called Saxon at first are no longer used, and because of rewriting, the actor will now be part of the climatic end.

“We really love what I did, but we have a change in the story, so we cannot use it. So we will put you in other ways. It is a kind of way he worked this throughout the way. “

Among the actors in his scenes this time, Saxon had previously worked with Simon Beige in the 1999 British defeat “Hippies”. He also discovered that they and Hilli Atwell enrolled in the same drama school in London, despite some years. The return of Henry Chirney, who sent his character in the first movie Dono to Alaska in the first place.

Regarding whether he may ever imagine a return to the concession, Saxon carries his arms on a large scale, saying: “Just a small dream.”

“I thought about writing Chris or Tom,” Dear Tom, this is what I think we can do with Dono. “Or,” What about this with Donlo? “At one time, after listening to a friend, I drafted a message to him. After years, Bang, I did.”

Sexon said he was not recognized by anyone from Dono. (This is likely to be on the verge of change.) If it is pressed, the favorite of “Impossible” films remain the first. yet.

“I assume that the closure is one of the ways to put it.” “It was more fun, this is the other, and the other, I did my job and enjoyed it. But this person I should really check. It is like reproducing production on the stage, or I went back to a project I did 20 years ago, 30 years ago, and returned it with what you know now, especially with a greater part. It is a great thing. It is another reason.
