Amtrak renews its mobile application to include more useful features such as facilitating the search for table changes and tracking the progress of the train from the station to the station. The changes are as Amtrak campaigns to attract customers and encourage them to travel by train instead of cars and aircraft.
The Amtrak app has already helped the cyclists in their ride planning, buy tickets, ETICETS width, Amtrak guest management bonuses, and more. Now, the new application displays the state of the train and the schedule of direct changes on the reservation screen (within 24 hours of the trip) so that it is easier to find. Passengers such as ACELA (or other specific seat trains) can now use the app to choose the favorite seats during the reservation process.
Depending on customer notes, Amtrak also updated the main screen to separate tickets from marketing information and messages. My new trips tab provides an easier display of active flights and allows you to jump to upcoming or previous trips. Finally, you can adjust a portion of your journey via the application, making travel modifications easier “while maintaining the best prices available”.
