Attacking a young tourist over her treatment of a wombat is hypocritical – and misses the point | Georgie Purcell

WI have seen all Effective American influential footage Wombat took Joy away from her mother. Joy Hasis and strikes, while the amazing mother of a woman revolves until she finally returns her to the side of the road.
The tourist calls the author of memorization and the world of the environment. But most of us can realize that this is not the behavior of a person who appreciates our original wildlife.
Over the past 48 hours, the entire country is mobilized. We got coverage from all major media outlets, comments from international influencers, and we heard from Australia’s Home Affairs Minister on the possibility of canceling the visa position for the individual. There was even a condemnation from our prime minister, and encouraged her to try it again with “some other Australian animals” that could already cause harm to them.
We do not know if the mother is wumbat and Joey has been reunited. In fact, we do not know much at all about the accident – although searching for desperate answers.
I reported the incident that occurred in crime seals, along with many other wildlife advocates and the concerned citizens. Not everyone is familiar, but wildlife, too, can be victims of crime, just as reporting crime remittances is currently one of the most effective ways that we can protect them in this way.
But the actions of this individual opened the door for us to face the largest and most urgent issue on hand.
We will publicize our leadership publicly this incident, yet there is blatant hypocrisy in their governance on WBATS, and with many other animals in this country.
Wombats are currently being shot, killed and poisoned under the government of government controlling wildlife (ATCW). Under the Practice Blog, landowners are granted a green light to “destroy the brain” from the WBAT air as a specific way to remove it from their property.
It is impossible to overlook the actions of a young tourist tourist in the paradox of the leaders of our country who condemn the actions of a young tourist for almonds while they are punished for their slaughter without shame.
Kangaroo, original birds, property, black swallows, and the email are only a few numerous animals given by landowners killing licenses under the ATCW menu.
Even the indigenous dingias in Victoria is controlled in a fatal way under the programs of fighting the misleading and ineffective “wild dogs”, which witnessed that the Victorian government provides “non -protection” that allows killing on private lands and inside a buffer zone along 3 km along the borders of public lands.
According to the Wildlife Protection Corporation, these legislative options give priority to killing for coexistence, which enhances a harmful culture towards our original wildlife as we all saw playing on our phone screens this week.
I urge our leaders to get to know hypocrisy with their own words before attacking the actions of one individual. This incident should be related to addressing ideas that play their role, not focusing on personal attacks against their actions.
We should not bear lectures from our leaders on how to respect wildlife when their own policies continue to exploit these animals and harm them with such a clear ignorance.
It is difficult not to look deeper into the sarcastic prime minister’s comment to tell the young woman in the video that “taking another animal can actually resist” as a revenge for her actions, rather than realizing the wider wildlife that is allowed under his watch.
After promoting the newsletter
This type of discourse only distracts from a real conversation about how to protect and respect our original wildlife.
While the common Wombat-like the spouses in the viral video-are not currently being threatened (such as the endangered or southern haircuts of the southern haircuts that have been prepared by the southern), it is increasingly affected by the destruction of waters, road strikes, operation and constant threat of combat control.
As a member of the Animal Justice Party, my focus on improving animal lives throughout Victoria – not anger. For this reason next week in Parliament, I will bring this case to the killing of Wombat, the punishable for the discussion.
Our leaders have a lot to respond to it and they must face the uncomfortable truth from their participation in the destruction of wildlife.
They can no longer ignore the role they play in enabling the harm of original animals while giving a lecture to others to respect wildlife.
What is happening to Wombats via Victoria and the rest of the country is terrible as we have seen in this video.
The only difference is that it occurs behind closed doors, away from the public eye and at the hands of those we rely on to ensure their protection.
