The PGA round ended in Texas for this season on Sunday and did so in Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth. Ben Griffin is the only golf player who stood at the top when everything was said and done.
Griffin won before this season and in general on a tour, but Sunday in Fort Worth achieved his first single victory, Andrew Novak He won Zurich Classic together in New Orleans earlier this season. Good milk!
Charles Schwab’s victory is technically Griffin in the second of the season, and joined some exclusive companies to the players to win several times this season:
- Rorre McLeroi
- Sep Straka
- Scotti Chefler
Speaking of Rorrei, he also won in Zurich last season and continued to win a single event, which means that this thing has now happened in consecutive seasons on a tour.
It is clear that these are some interesting parts of history, but Griffin made a lot of unique history regarding his Sunday’s victory round.
As you can see, the first hole in the Colon Country Club is equal.
This is impressive, and not necessarily something that everyone can do to start their final tour in a championship to win due to different courses that have different settings. But Griffin made an eagle in the first place and continued to win.
This phenomenon has occurred only 3 other times since 1983. This is more than 40 years!
