You can buy the iPhone 16 series from the Apple Store, and if you have an old phone you want to trade in, you can get a trade-in credit of up to $630. You’ll also get 3% cashback if you make the purchase using your account Apple card*.
T-Mobile is offering a number of trade-in discounts and new lines on the iPhone 16 series right now. Trading in your old phone will save you up to $1,000 if you have the Go5G Next plan, which gives you the base iPhone 16, 16 Plus, or 16 Pro for free. People on the Go5G Plus plan can get up to $830 off through trade-in, which still gets you the base iPhone 16 for free. People on a Go5G, Magenta, or One plan will get up to $300 off, and subscribers to most other plans can get up to $200 in trade-in credit.
You can also save up to $830 with both the new line and the trade-in, and military members, first responders and people over 55 can take advantage of special trade-in offers for up to $800 off.
AT&T is offering great deals on the iPhone 16 lineup. If you’re looking for a basic iPhone 16 or 16 Plus, you can save up to $700 with an eligible trade-in, bringing your monthly cost down to just $4 and $6, respectively. If you want to upgrade to the Pro model, the trade-in will save you up to $1,000, giving you a free 128GB iPhone 16 Pro, or the 16 Pro Max for just $6 per month.
Note that you need to have or switch to a qualifying unlimited plan to get these offers, and the discount will be applied as a bill credit over 36 months. AT&T is also offering a special online-only discount of $200 with a new line activation.
Xfinity Mobile isn’t offering any direct discounts on iPhone 16 series phones. However, you can save up to $500 on iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max with an eligible trade-in. But unlike some other carriers, Xfinity doesn’t offer enhanced credit, so the year and condition of your device will have a much greater impact on its value. And if you’re looking to switch from another carrier, Xfinity will give you up to $500 toward paying off your current contract.
Verizon is offering slight savings on everyone iPhone 16 models now. Adding a new line on the Unlimited Ultimate plan will save you $470 on the base iPhone 16, $390 on the iPhone 16 Plus, $460 on the iPhone 16 Pro, and $480 on the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The discounts are applied in the form of bill credits over a 36-month period, bringing the cost down to just $10, $15, $15, and $20 per month, respectively.
If you’re also trading in an old phone with the new Unlimited Ultimate line activated, the discount jumps to $830, giving you the base iPhone 16 for free.
Best Buy doesn’t carry any unlocked iPhone 16 models at the moment, but there are some big savings available if you add a new line and trade in your old phone through AT&T or Verizon. AT&T customers will get up to $700 off the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, or up to $1,000 off the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max. Verizon customers can trade in up to $830 off any iPhone 16 model.
Walmart is offering carrier deals that can help you save up to $930 on iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus, and up to $1,100 on iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max with trade-in when you activate a new line or upgrade with a new line. Unlimited voice. You’ll receive savings through 36 monthly bill credits. You will have to activate a new line or upgrade your line to a qualifying plan if you are not already subscribed to it.
If you choose one of the iPhone 16 series at Boost, you can save up to $1,000 without having to trade in. US Cellular offers a rebate of up to $1,000 that does not require a trade-in. To qualify for this discount, you’ll need to sign up for a new line on either the Personal Lines or Business Unlimited plans. You’ll receive bill credits for up to 36 months. Remember to check if US Cellular offers service in your area.
