We test all iPhone in the real world scenarios that focus on its features, design, performance, cameras, battery life and total value. We are documenting the results we have reached in a preliminary review that is updated periodically when there are new updates for iOS or comparison with new phones from competitors such as Samsung, Google and OnePlus.
Photography
Photography is a major axis for the iPhone, so we take pictures and videos of various topics in a variety of settings and lighting scenarios. We try any new camera modes, such as a slow -4K 120fps video that first appeared with iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max.
Battery life
The battery test is done in several ways. We evaluate the duration that iPhone takes on a typical day of use, and we notice how it works through more concentration sessions of video calls, media and games. We also perform a video playback test, which has not always been included in the initial review and later added in an update.
Performance measurement
We use measurement applications to measure performance, as well as our anecdotal use of the phone using our review. It is worth noting how graphics and animation looks. Is it soft? Or are you backward or affected? Take a look at the speed of the phone switch between the horizontal and vertical trends and the speed of opening the camera application and is ready to take a picture.
The emergency SOS may be one of the most important features that come out on any phone this year.
We perform heavy treated tasks such as photo editing and videos, exporting videos and playing games. We evaluate whether the latest version of the iPhone includes adequate features to make it worth promoting from old models. Some of these tests are added later in updates after publishing the initial review.
