Florida A&M AD arrested on fraud charges, accused of stealing over $24,000

Florida A & M. University Sports Director Angela Sujz was arrested on Monday for fraud and theft of allegedly using companies ’credit card for personal use, which reached more than 24,000 dollars in its previous job.
SUGGS, 55, has been seized, and she was seized in Lyon County Prison. She was later released on a bond worth $ 13,500.

The Florida Law Ministry said that Suggs conducted wireless transport, cash withdrawals and personal purchases in casinos during work trips while the CEO of the Florida Sports Foundation.
The investigation began last November after FDLE received a criminal referral from the Florida Ministry of Commerce inspector, who reviewed the purchases of Suggs commercial credit cards and the FSF interviewed travel. FSF is a direct support organization operating under the Ministry of Commerce in Florida.
The review revealed that Suggs falsified travel vouchers by coding unauthorized drawings as meals, according to FDLE. When asked about unauthorized drawings, Suggs claimed that some of them were to eat commercial meals and other fees were imposed on the work card by mistake. FDLE said she failed to pay fully FSF for her personal expenses.
The temporary president, Timothy Bird, said in a statement that the university is aware of the allegations associated with its work with a “former employer.”
“While the matter has nothing to do with its duties as an employee in Famo, we are watching the situation and we will respond in the future according to the necessity,” Bird said.
There was no lawyer listed in the prison records of Jouzz, who was rented in April 1993, Charlie Ward, who won the Heistman Trophy as men’s basketball coach at school.
