Breaking: Xavier hires Richard Pitino from New Mexico

There will be a father and son in the Great East, both of whom are Betino!
Richard Betino, son of Saint John’s coach and Famir Rick Betino Hall, is leaving New Mexico To take the same position in KazavierSources of Fox SPORTS were confirmed on Wednesday night.
After the 42-year-old took NCAA’s NAAA assault tournaments, overcoming Markt this year in the first round after scored 27-7 heading to the NCAA championship, Biteno increased his store dramatically and was in the mixture for both Villanova and Shafier.
The director of Musketeers, Greg Christopher, was a Pitino coordinator, who tried the high road in Minnesota but was left in 2021 after eight seasons at work. He led to the Bokirk in Betino to try to clarify his career, and he did so completely, as he got 88-49 during the past four seasons, and won the Mountain West championship in 2024 and accused the program to the normal season title this year.
My reaction: This only adds to the family’s atmosphere and traditions in the Great East. The fact that we will see at least two (and maybe three) confrontations between Rick and Richard Betino in the league and its lines. The father outperformed the son in his four meetings with Rick, who got a record 3-1, including Saint John in hitting Lobos last November.
But Richard was in a good position for a high position in this course. After Villanova did not make an offer for him although in this mix – with Maryland Kevin Williad and a mysterious candidate there for Wildcats – Christopher expanded the offer to Betino. Now it is heading to Ohio to take over the Xavier program, which has been an essential element in the NCAA championship in the last two decades.
