Warner Bros. Discovery will split into two separate companies

The media company announced on Monday that Warner Bros. Discovery divides its origins into two separate companies that were publicly circulated.

This step will put the company’s iconic films studio, running Prestige TV, HBO, HBO Max and DC Studios in one entity known as Streaming & Studios. Cable Cables CNN, TNT, Discovery and Over-Air Dearivers will work at the international level under the slogan of global networks.

This division aims to attract investors in the growing business of the company without being subjected to mature traditional television work, which declines. The deal is expected to take place by mid -2016.

David Zaslav, CEO of Warner Bros. said.

Zaslav will be broadcast head and studios. Gunnar Wiedenfels, Financial Director of Warner Bros. will be Discovery, President and CEO of Global Networks. Both will continue in their current roles in WBD until separation.

Zaslav has alluded to The Split since COMCAST announced that it has placed MSNBC and CNBC, golf channel, USA and other ports in a new company called Versant, and separating mature companies from the rest of the company while focusing on broadcasting.
