Book Founders Jimmy Sony tells the story of PayPal Mafia – Technology Brothers who established and managed the online payment company.

The most famous between this band – Elon Musk, Peter Thil, and David Sachs – are now known for their trauma policies like their prowess in entrepreneurship. However, in the past, what was really pumping their blood was mathematical puzzles.

Sony’s book mentions these three questions, which have become one of the basic elements in a job interview with PayPal. Are you smart enough to become a right billionaire?

1. Teams clogging

The correct numbers either have an individual number of unique divisions or a married number. What are the correct numbers that have an individual number of divisions?

[A divisor of Z is a number that divides into Z. For example, the divisors of 24 are 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 24. There are thus eight unique divisors of 24.]

2. The drug rope

There are two ropes, each of which differs on its length, so that they burn at different rates in different places along their length, but each takes one hour to burn completely. How can you use the two ropes to measure 45 minutes?

3. Currency puzzle

There is a circular table with an unspecified diameter. You and your opponent are a stock of similar metal coins. The game is intended for you to put a coin on the table in turn. No metal currency may be moved after it is placed and no coin may be completely or partially over another currency. The first player is unable to put a coin to lose. What is your strategy to ensure victory?
