CBS News Gets DRAGGED Over B.S. Study Blaming Fossil Fuel Companies for TRILLIONS in Environmental Damage – Twitchy

When the leftists say, “The science is settled,” what it really means, “We have reached a conclusion we love, and we will not tolerate the opposition or the discussion.”
There is no better evidence of this principle than when it comes to climate change.
CBS News has managed a story on “study” (we use this term loosely) to blame fossil fuel companies for trillions in climate damage:
Fossil fuel companies caused 28 trillion dollars damage to climate damage. These 5 are linked to the most damage.

The intense heat caused by emissions costs 111 fossil fuel company, an estimated 28 trillion dollars between 1991 and 2020, according to researchers at Dartmouth College.
Their study, which was It was published on Wednesday in nature,It displays a method that the peers reviews to connect emissions to specific climatic damage. Their goal is to help the companies bear the responsibility for the cost of harsh weather, similar to keeping Tobacco industry Responsible for lung cancer cases or Pharmaceutical companies Responsible for the opioid material crisis.
Zero Carbon Analytics 68 is a global level of climate change, with more than half of it in the United States.
“We claim that the scientific issue of climate responsibility is closed,” wrote the authors of the study, Christopher Callen, who obtained a doctorate from Dartmouth College, and Justin Mansin, a professor at Dartmouth in the Geography Department.
It will not surprise you to learn, dear reader, that this study is – like the CBS logo in the image of the head – a pile of bull bull.
Here is. methodology.
It is very stupid, it has already been broken.
“We have collected a set of emissions data only for the companies that we hate, and we have operated it through a series of heterogeneous computer models that we played until they gave us the exact results that we wanted.” https://t.co/ai5nrdk51X pic.twitter.com/valxhgjojv

Then the so -called “experts” ask why no one can trust them.
Because they do things like this.
A funny way to frame it. Just stacking a Bachelor’s degree on the head of BS. They admit that they are making this while they are progressing. pic.twitter.com/g0qxperqso

So knowledge p!
This is at best misleading, in the worst unrelated. Carbon fossil fuel companies do not produce, we all do all of them, because life and society require energy, and fossil fuel is a great way to produce them. This type of blame is a transparent excuse to order rent.
Davidgaw April 24, 2025
In the end, we are the carbon they want to reduce. It is more political tact to blame fossil fuel companies first.
Data Guy here – the methodology is the madness of the bull ** R.

We believe you are more than CBS News.

The same feelings.
And you still ask why people do not trust the media … when you lead this nonsense.
– Navyjava5 (@navyjava5) April 24, 2025
Total ambiguity.
Yes, let’s deal with cherry data and modify computer models to get the exact result that we want so that we can make the industry diabetic that makes modern life possible. Give us more government grants or you are Nazi. 🤡🤡🤡

Fossil fuel in everything, and occupy everything.
CBS News will have to return to a printing press if we get rid of fossil fuels.
This is the publication of the absolute nonsense from the non -faithful activists to justify false claims.
There is no way to connect emissions to surface temperatures, given countless variables, and much less to blame them for the specified oil/gas companies and their customers.
I can say cows hurt … https://t.co/v6akswodfx pic.twitter.com/kmfdxt4uw

Read the entire post:
I can say that the cows that caused 200 trillion dollars in climate damage and will have a great deal of validity such claims.
They also hate cows.
Let’s assume, for the sake of the argument, that these studies are not clear.
It completely tells us that none of these studies never calculate the benefit granted to humanity – in terms of life preserved from food production to medicines to everything else – from industry. https://t.co/7HIY5HPWE
Phil Legal (@Legal_fil) April 24, 2025
Because people who pay these studies hate humanity.
“They decided that pollution from Chevron, for example, raised the Earth’s temperature by 0.045 degrees Fahrenheit.”
Wow very accurate https://t.co/bxwntzojai
– Mattbramanti April 24, 2025
Totally do not form. Absolutely.
Why should the climate change be placed on fossil fuel producers instead of consumers? https://t.co/9j55exnxke
MJPesquire April 24, 2025
Because the goal of this is to destroy the quality of our lives by following the industry that makes modern life possible. Then they will wander to say that we breathe too much and contribute to climate change.
Oh, wait. They did so already.
