Columbia University Revokes Degrees of Pro-Palestinian Student Protesters

Columbia University announced on Thursday that it had been expelled or suspended some of the students who occupied the university campus building last year in protest against the Israel war on agitation In the Gaza Strip.
Ivy League in New York City also said it temporarily canceled the diplomas of some students participating in the protests who have graduated since then, but they have not provided additional information.
Colombia announced its decision in an email at the campus level that was sent on Thursday, according to Associated Press.
The school email came amid anger by some because of the arrest of Mahmoud Khalil, a university graduate and a supportive activist who was arrested during the weekend and is being held in Louisiana.
