‘Cosmic tornado’ swirls in breathtaking new James Webb Space Telescope image

The James Web Telescope for NASA Harbo Harro is 49/50, an external flow from a nearby star that still constitutes, in a high -resolution light near infrared. The young star is outside the lower left corner of the web image. The complex features of the external flow, represented in red orange color, provide detailed evidence about how young stars are formed and how their jet activity affects the environment around them. The cosmic coincidence led to one of the most amazing images taken by the NAST Space Telescope.

Herbig Harro’s creatures They are the glowing clouds of gas and dust in the form of newborns or protocroster. It is located inside the Chamaeleon I Cloud Complex – one of the closest star nursery to land -Herbig-aharo 49/50 gave a glimpse of the chaotic beauty of the formation of stars. This vast cloud of gas and dust is filled with newborn stars, which resembles the sun, probably similar to the environment that produces Our solar system.

Note for the first time in 2006 by a retired NASA now SpitZer SpacePrevious notes revealed that the external flow 49/50 is heading away from the ground at amazing speeds ranging from 100 and 300 km per second (from 60 to 190 miles per second).

Scientists suspect that the source of the external flow Herbig-aharo 49/50 is a protochener known as Cederblad 110 IRS4 (CED 110 IRS4), which is located about 1.5 light-years away from the object.

According to cosmic standards, CED 110 IRS4 is very small – only tens of thousands to a million years – and still grow, wandering in materials from the surrounding disk. As part of this process, some gas are diverted along the magnetic field lines of Protostar and are called high -speed planes. These planes are closed to the surrounding gas and dust clouds, creating Herbig Harro’s things, which glow shock waves ascending as the external flow collides with its surrounding areas.

HH 49/50 is one of these influence sites. It was called the “cosmic hurricane” because of its dramatic form. Spitzer’s photos were not clear enough to distinguish the mysterious being at the end of it – however Jwstshe.

Using Nircam’s Nircam and MID-Infrareer (Miri), astronomers have acquired hydrogen molecules and the first incandescent carbon oxide (as shown in orange and red in the image), which are heated and activated by strong aircraft of the new new star. These molecules, along with the active grains of dust, illuminate the complex and dynamic processes that make up the circumference of the star.

HH 49/50 detailed photos reveal glowing gas arches that helped astronomers track the plane’s path to its source – CED 110rs4. However, not all arches are completely aligned with the same direction.

One of the individual features – a bump near the top of the main flow – does not seem appropriate. Scientists believe that it may be an unrelated secondary flow that occurs to overlap in the image. Another possibility is that the main flow is the collapse, and the creation of this strange form. The cause of irregular patterns may also be due to the slow vibrating movement of the Protostar plane over time, a phenomenon known as beginners.

“Webb has picked up these two unrelated being in a lucky alignment,” WEBB wrote in ABB. statement Today (March 24), when the new photos were released. “For thousands of years, the edge of HH 49/50 will move abroad and it seems that it is ultimately covering the remote galaxy.”
