“Usually, the surrender in the school curricula is usually in the third year, and they pushed themselves to this position, which is the credit for them,” said Diennut. “Now that they are here, they have to continue doing what they did all the way through the qualifiers, which go out there, compete entirely, learn lessons and apply it forward.

“They have done a great job in it. I think you have seen it over the qualifiers. They haven’t always played their best game, but they are always preparing to play the next game.”

“The pressure is a privilege. So I enjoy relying on that and doing this, and I only think I have been relied upon, where I feel, last year, to be completely honest, only regarding being there for the rest of the players. Now we are here in the finals. So I don’t see it very different.”

Holmgren, 23, has a season and a half of the actual American professional league experience due to an infection in the entire 2022-23 season and a broken basin that caused the missed three months to miss this season. He proved himself as the heat of the elite edge and the option of the third outstanding attack, with an average of 16.4 points, 8.6 rebounds and 2.0 blocks per game during the western qualifiers.

“I feel that I had slowed down, as it ended a kind of these plays on the edge,” said Holmegren. “It is clear that it is painful in losing one point. It was possible to decide one difference in one play the entire game. He puts a magnifying cup in each case in the game. Everyone felt that it was where they could be better.”
