‘Dangerous Animals’ review: A shark horror film with tired blood

Sean Bern knows how to show the public a bad time. Sixteen years ago, the Australian director began on the scene with “The Foirstho”, for the first time, proud of an inappropriate teenager who is taking revenge on the boy who refused to go to a concert with her. Porn expert porn expert, part of the exploration of teenage romantic anxiety, the film was an element in the middle of the night in the middle of the night that took Six years to follow.

When he did that, he went in a different tune direction with “Satan’s candy,” Amazing emotional psychological excitement about a mineral love painter who takes his family to a beautiful country house, just to lose his mind. Bern works in a recognized subdivision, and seizes you with a familiar hypothesis and then slowly provokes overcrowding, making you unstable but also active through his creativity.

A decade has now passed since that prestigious stones on “The Shing”, and for the third advantage of Burn, he was returning again to unforgettable sources. “Dangerous animals” derives from both the movie “The” Film “and Mile Hollywood to see the stories of survival on the hungry sharks that feed on the human body. But unlike the past, the new Bern movie is never directed with a sudden narrative wrinkles or an unexpected objective depth. He did not lose a talent to generate bad feelings, but this time nothing else came to the party.

Film stars Hassi Harrison in the role of Zifer, a solitary browser explaining in a dialogue on the nose, preferring the danger of open water over the misery of life on Earth. He is an American in Australia who grew up in the homes of Foster and lives in an old car, and faced Zifer Musa (Josh Heron), a nice man who communicates with him. She does not want him to develop her feelings: she takes off in the middle of the night so that she can pick up some waves. Unfortunately, Zephyr is the person who was arrested – by Tucker (Jai Courtney), a deceptive boat leader who kidnaps it. The next thing you know, it is restricted to the chains inside his ship at sea, along with another victim, Heather (Ella Newton).

Like many murderer, the movie series, Takir is not only concerned with killing his prey – he wants to make something artistic of his reward. Thus, Heather connects with a crane and droops in the water, such as a giant temptation, and withdrawing the video camera to record its last moments while the sharks are devoured. Watching his victims is struggling to survive is the cinema for this twisted spirit and will be the next protagonist.

Bern (who wrote his previous features) works from a text from an optical artist Nick Lebard (who wrote his previous feature) in the attractiveness of the story B. Tucker may use old technology to record his killing operations, but “dangerous animals” are present at the present time, even if their essence is wheat, it was appropriate to come out 50 years ago as an counter -appreciation of the “jaws”. Thanks to the crawling and strong behavior of Zeffer in Tikr, Bern purchased in intent in type clichies, which puts the inevitable confrontation between beauty and monster.

But despite this juicy preparation, “dangerous animals” is a direct and beloved horror movie, as it offers a little dark hair for the previous Bern and a lot of the ability to predict the narration in the past. There are still sabotage ideas – for one reason, this shark movie with a few precious sharks – but the infiltrated Bern’s intelligence has been largely abandoned. Instead of overcoming expectations, “dangerous animals” surrender to them.

One cannot make Harrison, who spends a lot of film in the Battle of Wales with her families. Since “hazardous animals” limit the amount of sharks we see, as the dignitarian footage of the killer creatures has been introduced in scenes, the central tension of the story comes from Zephyr trying to free themselves or get help before Tucker is his next movie. Harrison displays a fierce design associated with a severe gear for this hateful women hated. It is bad enough that Tikr wants to kill her – in advance, he wants to carry her with the trivialism of the shark, and defends these animals that are misunderstood. It is a lagging joke: “dangerous animals” is a nightmare around the MansPlainer interview from hell.

Unfortunately, Courtney’s true animal concept is the place where the story is really going. The actor’s handsome, handsome place aims to suggest every strong-structure-a type of person who does not suspect or look at it twice, which makes Tucker in a good position to leave a path of corpses on his way. But Bern or Courtney completely gets their arms about this uncomfortable horror. Excessive “dangerous animals” emphasize its point of view that we should not be afraid of sharks – it is Tuckers who should keep us at night – but Courtney does not pick up slag that cannot be understood under the cranuise of the face. We are rooted to zefir to escape from the clutches of Tikr is not because he is evil but because it is a bit cruel.

Even with those palaces, the film includes a level of letter that maintains the fleet of the story, with relying on Bern on the tension that can be relied upon for a besieged victim at sea with its chase, and the sharks waiting for the surrounding waters. Michael Yezerski juices, all intimidal intimidation as Gore continues to height – especially during a moment when Zephyr finds an unexpected way to get out of handcuffs.

But Bern can not recover the textual bone conspiracy transformations, and the most interesting idea cannot be raised in its essence. While Takr peers in the camera lens, the description of the screaming of its victims while drowning the sharks in it, hinting the “dangerous animals” to the horror managers of the installation like Bayern to present to us with an indescribable horror, and insist that we love the bloodshed as they do. Tucker tries to persuade zephyr that they are not different all – both sharks, as you see – but in fact, BYRNE may suggest an uncomfortable kinship with his serial killer. But instead of following this non -sacred bond, the manager only finds Chum.
