Danny McGuire: Castleford Tigers head coach unhappy with decisions in Wigan Warriors loss

Custelford Tigerers coach Danny McGueri, his team at the end of the referee’s “pathetic” and “horrific” decisions in the defeat of the Premier League on Saturday by Wigan.
The former international in England and Great Britain was upset with calls that fade his team in narrow 26-20 home loss To the warriors.
McGuire, 42, was disturbed by an unlimited challenge on Alex Mellor, who left the Tigers captain needing his knee.
To add to his anger, CAS had tried in the 63rd minute to strike forward when he was driving 16-12, and moments later, the tigers’ rotation was moved in the middle of the road due to a successful captain challenge.
“Some decisions tonight were pathetic,” McGuer told the BBC Leeds Radio Leeds.
“The level of residence and some things that occur, the matter gets worse.
“Some older players, such as (Richard) Silverwood, (Steve) Ganson, (Russell) Smith and such people. At least they had some courage.”
He added: “Some calls were horrific and were consistent for us this year. We do not receive calls.
“Sometimes because you are not a dominant team, so we get some difficult calls.”
The Premier League winner said eight times that he “did not disturb” the disciplinary work capabilities about his comments after the match.
“I don’t care if they are fine, and I will pay them a pound a week, but it is not good enough and it is not good enough,” he said.
“You are asking questions and they are only through meaningless answers, so they are a waste of time to invest any energy in asking questions about calls because they only get you out.”
