Donald Trump’s Transgender Order Blocked by Reagan-Appointed Judge

On Tuesday, a federal judge has temporarily prevented prison officials from transferring sexually transformed women to men’s facilities and ending their arrival to hormonal therapy under an executive order signed by the president Donald Trump.
American boycott judge, Royce Lambres, who was appointed before republican President Ronald Reagan heads a lawsuit on behalf of three transgender women who were sheltering in women’s facilities before Trump signed the matter on his first White House on January 20.
The request of the prisoners was granted for a temporary restriction, hours after a hearing, where a lawyer argued that Trump’s order was distinguished against transgender people and violated their constitutional rights.
“The request for obtaining a temporary restriction order is granted on the narrow foundations for the claims of the eighth amendment of the plaintiff,” Lambres wrote in the ruling.
Because the calls for the eighth amendment of the plaintiffs are sufficient for themselves to preserve TRO, this court will not take any position on the advantages of the plaintiffs equally or [Administrative Procedure Act] Claims at this time. “
