Dylan Harper’s Buzzer Beater & 24 points raising Rutgers on Citton Hall

You are ready to play in the first Big Ten championship ever. What do you and your team aspire to the show in Indianapolis?

“It is a blessing to make it there because Big Ten is really difficult. All 18 teams are really good, so it’s difficult to get there. It will be a great time, and we look forward to going in a big race. We’ll go out of basketball in Rutgers. I’m definitely very excited. It’s big.

You and ACE Bailey are the first Big Ten Freshman for every 500 points in one season since Chris Weber and Galin Rose did so with Fab Five. What does he hear your name mentioned in that elite company?

“It is crazy to compare the FAB Five team. We have something here where we have five new students who all came at the same time, and we are playing a big minutes, so we have somewhat happening.

The university basketball scene in New York and New Jersey has become this year with what St. John, you and ACE are major headlines in Rutgers. Do you feel that basketball in New York has returned to the college scene?

“You definitely feel all the pressure and all the energy that comes with it, but this is a kind of what we asked when I registered in this matter, that I came to Rutgers and played with a wonderful coach like Steve Pikel. Both we knew that we would continue to work.

Big Ten was really good this year. What is the most difficult match I have faced throughout the year, either a team or an individual that you suffered?

“Every game we must play in a difficult match. It seems that every team we play has a great goalkeeper. There is Braader Smith in Bordeaux, Price Williams in Nebraska. Many people talk about him, but he did not talk about many people. [Trey] Kaufman Run can really score the ball. Even in Pennsylvania, I can go with ACE Baldwin or [Dawson] Garcia in Minnesota. There are a lot of talents throughout the Big Ten and there is no night outside. “

When it comes to playing the total basketball, what is the biggest difference that you have to adapt from the high school game to the kidney game?

“Physical. I love to collide men and things like this, but when you reach college, you play against adult men. They are 23 or 24, so what really helped me is just trying to embrace it … embracing the physical and the speed of the game, and you know day by day.”

There was a lot of gossip about the capabilities of your professional league and how much quality may be at the next level. Who do you design your game yet and is there a current or a former player in the American Professional League, which you consider compared to yourself?

“I try to grow my game on people who are my sales, my longevity and play my position. Youth like Cade Cunningham, Shai Gilgeous-Elexander or Luka Dončić … big guards can really reach their place, and they know when they don’t care. Watch.”
