Egypt announces discovery of the lost tomb of King Thutmose II

Egyptian officials announced on Tuesday the discovery of the tomb of King Thutumos II, the last of the missing tombs of the eighteenth family kings in ancient Egypt, which prevailed for more than two centuries from about 1550 BC and 1292 BC. Dr. Peres Leadland, head of the English team on the site, said that the grave is characterized by a simple, typical architectural design for those who were the successive referees of Egypt who came after Thuntus II.
