Max Verstappen’s win in F1 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix reignites title race

If you think Oscar PiaSSTRI will escape with the 2025 Formula 1 drivers championship, Max Verstapen wants to get a word with you.

Or maybe he will leave his leadership to do the conversation.

The Red Bull PiaSSTRI driver stormed the opening lap for the big Emilia Romagna Romagna after the McLaren driver started a huge start of the line. PiaSSTRI holding the lead is heading to the first angle, but Verstapen toured PiaSSTRi via Tamburello Chicane, making wandering outward sliding into P1.

You can see the dramatic opening of Verstapen here:

The Red Bull driver did not have the matter easily from there, as he needed to move in restarting a pair of safety cars, first when Esteban Ocon pulled the racing line and in the grass in the 29th roll, then later when the Kimi Antonelli lost the salad on the 46.

VersApet listened to restarting and went away with his fourth consecutive victory in IMOA, at the beginning of the Grand Prix in Red Ball, before Norris, which passed the PIASSTRI to P2. The Australian driver did enough to stop Lewis Hamilton, who handed over a resounding recovery campaign to occupy the fourth place after the start of the twelfth.

VersApet won to 22 points from PiaSSTRI at the top of the driver championship ranking, while Norris’ P2 pulled it to only 13 points from his teammate.

Alexander Albon ranked fifth in a strong day of Lilloms, as Carlos Science Junior ranked eighth. Charles Licerirk crossed the line in P6 before George Russell on p. 7, and former teammates in Issak Haydjar and Yuki Tsunouda – with Red Ball – scored scoring.

Tsunouda managed to provide an incredible recovery campaign on its own, and climb points after its heavy crashes in the qualifiers ended early on Saturday, and she asked the beginning of the hole.
