Paul Simon Cancels Shows Due to ‘Chronic and Intense Back Pain’

Bad news to Paul Simon Fans.

In a joint post Simon Instagram account On Saturday, he announced that Simon canceled his performances on Saturday and Sunday at the Philadelphia Music Academy due to a continuous issue with his back.

“Unfortunately, Paul Simon must cancel two shows tonight June 28 and night on June 19 – at the Philadelphia Music Academy,” read The Post. “Paul was struggling with chronic and intense back pain. Today it is not manageable and required immediate interest.”

“Unfortunately, we have to cancel these offers at this time, because we do not have the ability to reschedule them. However, after this simple surgical procedure, we hope for the date in the next few days, Paul will be able to complete the tour in addition to looking back to compensate for these dates.”

The post added that the full recovered amounts will be provided for those who bought the tickets in advance of the offer.

Simon, who is currently working on a “quiet celebration tour”, which was presented at the Philadelphia place just two days ago on Thursday. It was the first three shows in the city. After a long time on the eastern coast, the tour is heading to the Terrace theater at the Long Beach Center for Performance Arts on July 7.

Especially given surgery, it is not clear how Simon’s health will affect the rest of the round. After stopping in Long Beach, California, Simon is scheduled to need a five nights in the Disney Hall in Los Angeles.
