F1 news: FIA releases F1 penalty and racing guidelines

The Formula 1 management body took another step towards “transparency” regarding how to deal with race officials with punishment decisions during the weekend in the race.
FIA announced on Thursday that “a major document was created to assist the supervisors of fair and consistent decisions in the FORMULA One World Championship application that must be available to the public for the first time.” These two documents were published, the Formula 1 penalty guidelines and instructions for the Formula 1 leadership standards, on the entire FIA website.
“FIA STKARDS is a greatly complex task, not only in Formula 1 but in all of our tournaments, and they do this voluntarily, with great passion and commitment,” said the President of FIA Muhammad bin Selim in a statement. This dedication often matches very severe and completely justified.
“To prove the accuracy that they follow their role, today we publish the guidelines of the penalties and leadership standards that help them in their decisions. This will give fans and media members an essential and more accurate vision in the headquarters in the headquarters in 2022. Parties, on the table to create a real reference for some race cases.”
Mercedes -George Russell, director of the Grand Prix, described the step as a “useful step” towards transparency.
Rice said: “The largest transparency in our sports governance is an important issue and this is a useful step in this direction.” “We hope that it is useful for sports to give the media and fans a clearer understanding of the rules of engagement when we are racing against the right track, and helping them understand how the rulers reach their decisions.”
This step comes in the wake of many penalty incidents that attracted attention in the F1 world. The Austrian Grand Prize race at the end of this week represents the anniversary of one such a year, a battle between Max Versaben and Lando Norris in the closing stages of last season’s race. The two gathered where they were fighting for the lead in the final rolls, and Verstapen was given a penalty as a result of this collision.
Last year, the United States’ Grand Prix race witnessed another incident between Norris and Versaben, where Norris completed the Red Bull driver, but the race officials decided that he left the path and gained an advantage during that battle.
Norris got a five -second penalty kick that he reduced to fourth place, and promoted VersAPPEN to the final platform site.
With regard to overcoming decisions, drivers guidelines contain these provisions (originally focus):
A. Overgrow from the angle:
To have the right to give space when crossing from the inside, the car must exceed:
I) It has at least its front axis next to the other car mirror before and on the top
2) It is fully controlled, especially from entering the summit, not “diving”.
3) At the assessment of the rulers, they took a reasonable race line and managed to complete this step while remaining the boundaries of the path.
Outward abroad from the angle:
It will always be seen from abroad as a more difficult maneuver to accomplish.
In order for them to have a space, including the exit, when bypassing from the outside, the car must exceed the following:
I) It has its front axis before the front axis of the other car at the top.
2) It is driven in a way that controls it from entering, to the top and exit.
(3) To be able to make the angle within the boundaries of the path.
