George Russell: ‘Super Fast’ Kimi Antonelli Has Been ‘Thrown In At The Deep End’ With Mercedes

George Russell has a new teammate on the new Formula 1 team, and is enthusiastic about what the next few seasons can keep as the Mercedes younger driver’s squad looks forward to influencing the year 2025 and beyond.
Since Luis Hamilton’s departure to Ferrari, Russell has risen to the upper role of the Mercedes team, where the first driver’s position for the F1 champions is eight times.

His new teammate, Broby Broopi Kimi Antonelli, has arrived at the team with great expectations that were already placed on his shoulders. But after working with him during her season and through the test in Bahrain, Russell said he really knows that a pace will not be a problem for the 18 -year -old.
“He is a great child,” Russell said BBC sports.
“He is very young, but he is a really nice young man. Of course.
((It) is at the end of the deep end, which will be a great challenge. But in terms of raw speed, I don’t think you can skepticize. There will be an interesting new dynamic. “
This new dynamic will be significantly different from Russell, which was part of it in recent seasons. Hamilton has long been a Mercedes driver, he was the number one clear in the team, as Russell forced to play a supportive role for long attacks during their teammates.
But with the Silver and Black Hamilton from Mercedes Reed, Russell has an opportunity to escalate and lead the team.
It is an opportunity he said he was ready, and his move to the driver’s role was one soft and natural number that did not cause any unjustified pressure.
“This is the shift of the page,” Russell suggested.
“It is a new chapter. I don’t suddenly feel any additional responsibility.”
Hamilton’s transfer to Ferrari will participate in a partner with Charles Licerk, who is preparing for his seventh season with the Maranilo team.
Russell was racing against Leclerc from their disaster days as young, and he said he was looking to see how the dynamic team would play with the world champion joining the team to buy a beloved driver.
“Charles is a great driver, and there is no doubt about it,” said Charles is a great driver, and there is no doubt.
“So I will be really fascinated to find out how it comes out because they are great drivers.

“It is clear that he is entering an Italian team as Charles has been the number one over the past six years.
“It’s an interesting dynamic, but I think it will be close to the two.”
