Google Messages is using AI to detect scam texts

Google messages provide artificial intelligence feature aimed at helping to protect Android users from text messages. New The detection of the fraud process that works with artificial intelligence Today has been announced alongside other new features, including the direct site sharing in the Find My App application for Android users and features for owners of pixels such as MULTICAMERA and new text options in Pixel Studio.

Fraud detection works in Google messages by monitoring SMS, MMS and RCS messages in actual time for suspicious patterns. Once you discover a possible fraud, Google messages will provide a warning message to users that allow them to quickly remove them or report the sender. Google says the feature is designed to tackle “conversation sculptors that begins innocent” before it later begins with nefarious plans.

“Protection of traditional random mail focuses on protecting users before the start of the conversation, and is less effective against these last tactics of fraudsters who turn into a dangerous Holocaust and use social engineering techniques,” says. Alberto Reverend NeitoA large product manager for Google. “To better protect users, we have invested in the new smart artificial intelligence models capable of discovering suspicious patterns and providing actual time warnings over the course of a conversation, while giving priority to the user privacy.”

Fraud detection is launched in English and is presented to the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada first, with more countries expanding “soon”. The feature is running by default and monitors only conversations with people who are not saved in your contact list. Google says that all messaging processing occurs on the device to keep user conversations. The feature can be disabled within the RAM protection settings from Google messages.

Another feature begins to put it to Android users today is the ability to share direct site information with “reliable contacts” in Find My App. Google says that the site’s data is “stored safely” and that users can choose those who want to share their site with the time period, with dropping the application “regular reminders” about who this information is shared. It was a similar feature already available to Google Maps, but people can now format up or find lost friends in the same app used to find missing devices.

Google also releases additional features only available on pixels. Pixel 9 users can now connect GoPro cameras or other pixels to their own Bluetooth and WiFi to broadcast from different angles on compatible applications, including YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Tiktok – similar to the Apple Multicamera feature on iPads. Pixel 9 users can also use the Pixel Studio app to create pictures or stickers for people. These things will be organized and not realistic to prevent misuse of the tool.

Other Pixel 9 updates include support for satellite messages on both Verizon and T-Mobile, as well as suggestions in screenshots that will automatically recommend the clips that must be added to the user groups. The copies of the pixels, pixels and pixels 6 and newer phones were also updated, allowing users to transfer audio recordings from old devices and make them copied and saved automatically within the Recorder application.

All the features mentioned in this article began to launch today, but it may take a few weeks to appear on the subsidized devices.
