California Governor Gavin New Rohr, DC, traveled on Tuesday to meet President Donald Trump Members of Congress hoping to secure more money after deadly forest fires in the Los Angeles region.
The visit, which was confirmed by the White House, just one day after the California legislators agreed to $ 25 million in legal financing to the Trump administration challenge.
This will be the first visit of newsom to the capital since Trump took over and continues to call for additional federal financing to help restore fires.

“This tragedy affects the entire nation, so it is in the interest of the country to ensure that California has what you need to prevent and combat these fires in the future,” Trump wrote. “Therefore, the US policy is to provide southern California with the necessary water resources, despite harmful governmental or local policies.”
