HIMSSCast: Forecasting AI and health IT regulation under a Trump White House

It has been a four -month strain on any number of political fronts since President Donald Trump took office for his second term, and health care and health are not exceptions.
In the first 100 days of the Trump administration, there were major discounts and major discounts for employees in the US Department of Humanitarian Services, some of the new understanding about what the artificial intelligence regulations might take, and to continue to extend (although it is not permanent) from a distance health care in the era of the epidemic and many other new developments on the organizational front.
There was also controversy and confusion, of course, and the big transformations in politics compared to just a few months ago that left some health care professionals and technology developers not sure about what the future might keep regarding the guidance and organization of health.
We recently talked to Aaron Majorene, a partner in Foley & Lardner LLP. He is a lawyer who advises health care and technology companies, as well as service providers and motivation, in issues of organization and compliance with cybersecurity, privacy, data governance and more. He is also a co -chair of the TELEMICINE Association. We asked him about what the first weeks of the new administration on the Politics Front have shown so far, and what they might refer to for the coming years.
