Beach Boys’ Al Jardine fondly remembers Brian Wilson

The founder of the death of Beach Boys Brian Wilson is an countless loss for music and California, where the place and his dream that Wilson broke his movable and giving books.

Wilson was the vision of the specified American rock band, which competed with the Beatles team to transfer pop music to new worlds of development and invention, while writing songs that pick up the longing of youth culture.

His death leaves only successful two members of the original collection-Mike Loew and Ardine, Wilson high school, who sang in early strikes such as “Help Me Rhonda” and wrote songs for subsequently loved period albums such as “Surf’s Up” and “Sunflower”.

On the day the world learned of the death of Wilson, Garden spoke shortly to times to remember his friend and colleague in the band for life. Guiterist, singer and songwriter – Now on a tour Through his pets, which play Beach Boys Hits with a focus on their output in the 1970s – I looked back in six decades of writing and performance with one of the greatest minds of popular music.

The Jardine conversation was edited for length and clarity.

I only lost my best friends and teacher. It is not a good feeling, but I will continue to play our music and perform with the Sounds Pet band.

Brian was a great friend. We grew up together, and we went to high school together. We were both dropouts, and this is not bad as long as you have a vision for the future. I was and among the music.

We were very intimate and very successful friends because of his great talent. He had an amazing ability to compose, very simple things and very complicated things, all at the same time. He was insight.

We all grew up together music, but it grew greatly. He became a leader, formed new ways to build a tendon, and things that no one had heard before, and we got out of the challenge with him.

Brian has been said to invented California, the mental state. This is a nice way to say, but it really invented a new form of music in the 1960s and 1970s. He was very sophisticated, but he crossed it. It was a modest giant, a great American composer.

I don’t think anyone else can walk in his shoes, given everything that he went through. I wrote some of the songs that I love, and helped him reach treacherous times. It should be very frightening to leave in the wild yourself and don’t know how to go home. He said that one of the songs she wrote helped him to get this, which is a compliment from the great Brian Wilson, who had his demons to deal with.

Brian Wilson was a reformulation of his professional life. He never enjoyed the tour, so this band was a completely new life for him, to experience his own music and an unprecedented photography.

Its legacy is of course in music, and any translator of this inheritance must be sharp and dedicated. We have the most loyal people who can be there to do so, and many of the original members of his band. My son Matthew, is the sound of Brian, and the DNA is present. Through the organization, Darian, and arrange all singing, we have all the muscles and genius to pull them.

When I and Wilson were singing these parts at that time, we were shortened things – you could not do everything I did in the studio with only five of us. Now we have 10 people on stage and I just heard some of the background parts yesterday that seemed as we used to do so – you can hear Karl and Dennis there.

When we take the band, I have a small white piano on stage, like those he played in the past. It is a symbolic moment, empty piano.

Although the Beach Boys tour was a successful performance, with this repetition, we are more prevalent and deeper, and the performance of many of the seventies catalogs. There are quite a few numbers that the audience has not heard, explore the heart and spirit of those albums. I hoped that Brian would be able to join us.

But this is great, we hope this music will continue forever, and that it is perceived at the deep levels that Brian lived.

It is certain that it is very responsible to play it, but it looks normal for me. I was doing it for a long time, I am not concerned. I am sure this band is very great. I still learn from Brian after all these years.
