Who can nominate
Anyone may make a nomination. Self -notes are encouraged. The candidates should not be members of IEEE, but the candidates must meet Specific qualifications. IEEE organizational unit may make recommendations supported by the ruling body or the designer of the authority.
A person may be nominated for more than one position. Candidates do not need to contact the candidates before submitting the form. The IEEE N&A committee will contact the qualified candidates to obtain the required documents, the people and their willingness to consider this position.

Nomination tips
Make sure to verify eligibility requirements N & A. A.. Before submitting a nomination to avoid the candidacy nomination, for one reason or another, it may be unqualified to occupy a specific position.
The positions that the N&A Committee offers recommendations represent the levels of higher governance in IEEE. The committee with a previously relevant volunteer in IEEE committees recommends the minimum level and units by the committee often more than volunteers without this experience. For example, the candidates for the Award Council have larger numbers of recommendation if they have already served in the Awards Distribution Committee in the Society, Department, region, or another IEEE Council.
The recommended individuals are likely to advise the positions of the elected president and the company company if they have a strong record of leadership and relevant achievements inside and outside IEEE. The recommended elected candidates should have served on IEEE Board for at least a year.
