INDYCAR drivers on giving, receiving the middle finger: Like saying ‘I love you’

Acknowledge the sin. As a driver, most people may have done so. Or at least think about it.

While driving along, someone else pulls a doubtful move. For some reason, the other driver raises. Reaction is a sign “You No. 1” using the middle finger.

Now, just imagine this happens in 200 mph. Anger and response? A moment.

So in the spirit of the moment of reactionary anger, we asked Indycar Drivers are the number of medium fingers they will receive, and if they are more likely to be delivered or received during the season.

Most drivers play along. It is not surprising, Will power It was at the top of the list.

“It depends on whether we are calculating strength, and this will happen to the fifties and sixties,” the hero of the defense series Alex Palo He said with a smile. “If we do not calculate the power of will, perhaps from 10 to 15.”

It was not the only one:

David Malocas: “From all drivers or just strength?”

Ray Rob bite: “At least two if the power is involved.”

As for the record, we did not see any clear points during the opening match two weeks ago in Saint Petersburg. But drivers have 16 events left on the timetable for anger from each other, and they return to the race on March 23 at the thermal club.

Drivers’s responses to the middle finger question varied from philosophical to analyzing the situation.

Nolan will get: “I think you are doing something wrong if you don’t get at least two.”

Kyle Kirkud It gives people just a thumb: “You cannot face a thumb problem. But it is very offensive.”

Calum Elot:[I’ll get] two. But it could be from individual drivers or a single driver with two hands. “

Connor Dali: “Frankly, if you get medium fingers from Will Power, this may mean that I am in the right place.”

Marcus Armstrong: “If Ricky Bobby is [from the movie Talladega Nights] We taught anything, there is no shame in doing this. “

The road extends to Indy 500 across the thermal where Indycar is heading to the California desert

Most drivers said they are likely to receive more than they give. Here are samples:

Palo: “I expect to receive more. I am not a very medium young man. But this may change.”

Colon Herta: “I have delivered one. You never see them when you get it. We need men to wear bright gloves.”

Graham Rahl: “I plan to get scratch. However, I’m sure we’ll get some, and some for good fun as well. It is not always a bad thing when that happens. Sometimes it is like” I love you “in a different form.

Joseph New Vegdin: “I will not offer anything. But I may receive each other. This is very possible.”

Scott McLeulin: “I think I was giving them last year. So I fully think I can [getting] Dozens, that is good. I will return it directly. This is my way to tell them that I am No. 1 in the session. ”

As much as he does not like that reputation, but it is part of its history.

“It was normal to do when I was younger in Australia,” he said.

It usually exceeds that quickly.

“You can turn someone and after two minutes you are good with them,” said Power. “Sometimes this is a natural reaction, I must remember,” You can’t do it on TV. “
