Financing the Governor of New York for hospital update projects
It will help $ 188 million, which can increase technology projects such as EHR integration, one ED, Nicu and other digital health initiatives “to bring vital resources to the disadvantaged New York population.”
New York Governor Cathy Hochol announced last week to investment plans in seven hospitals and health care partnerships throughout the state as part of a health care safety network transformation program.
This initiative is designed, supported by up to $ 188 million of capital financing, to improve care, processing infrastructure gaps, and enhance operational efficiency in safety network institutions.
The Hashoul Governor committed additional resources to expand the program in 2026.
A partnership between the Jamaica Hospital and the Memorial Celed Citrring Cancer Center will establish a “comprehensive cancer program for queens”, including the creation of a new campus for radiation and leakage treatment at Jamaica Hospital, allowing comprehensive care of cancer locally and referring patients to souvenirs of Sloan Kitting to meet advanced treatments and clinical trials.
GLENS Falls, in partnership with Albany Med Health System, will update its emergency department to fulfill the expected growth in the request of patients over the next decade. Promotions include integration with the ALBANY MED electronic health record system and the addition of social workers in the discharge process to link patients with community resources.
In western New York, Kaleida Health will lead improvements at Bertrand Chaffee Hospital, Books-TLC Hospital and Olayan General Hospital, with plans to build a new facility in Feridonia.
The project also includes the Kaleida Health system to ensure the continuity of care throughout the region.
St. Barnapas Hospital in Bronx, in partnership with the City Block and Federation Center, will expand the emergency department, which is currently 75,000 visits annually in an area designed for 55,000.
The Montefior New Roshil and Witschest Center will participate in the hospital update plans for the intensive care units of Motherhood and Walid, which has not been renewed for more than 25 years.
In North Country, the UVM health network will enhance behavioral health services through a partnership with the Champlin Valley Family Center, with the aim of reducing the use of the emergency department and simplifying UVM Alice Hyde Medical Center.
Finally, Marie Emogen Hospital will expand transportation in emergency situations with ambulance services in Otusso Province and update pharmacy operations with Nobel health services to improve the patient’s access to emergency care and enhance pharmacy services.
“Everyone must have access to reliable health care and regardless of the postal code in which they live, and these investments will bring vital resources to the deprived New York population,” Hachol said in a statement.
