Israel launches major attack on Iran’s nuclear program

Israel attacked the capital of Iran early on Friday in the strikes that targeted the country’s nuclear program and sparked a comprehensive war between the bitter Middle East. It appears to be the most important attack that Iran has faced since its war in the 1980s with Iraq, with multiple sites throughout the country.
An Iranian government screen, the leader of the Iranian semi -military guard, stated, in a major blow to Tehran’s rings and an immediate escalation of the long -running conflict. He read a statement saying: “The assassination news was confirmed and the martyrdom of General Hussein Salami,” but he did not explain. Another employee was a senior guard, as well as nuclear scientists, fearing death.
Israeli leaders said that the attack was necessary to get rid of what they described as an imminent threat that Iran would build nuclear bombs, and warned of revenge that could target civilians in Israel.
In Washington, the Trump administration, who earlier warned against Israel, said of any attack amid continuous negotiations, that it had not participated in the attack and warned Iran against revenge against American interests or employees.
Multiple sites in the capital were subjected to the attack, which Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said it targeted nuclear and military sites. The target was also officials leading the Iranian nuclear program and ballistic missile arsenal.
I heard the sounds of the explosions again within hours. It was not immediately clear whether the air defense systems were launched or another attack.
The attack came amid warnings from Israel that Tehran would not be allowed to build a nuclear weapon, although it is not clear how close the country is to actually achieve this.
Netanyahu said in YouTube’s address that the attacks will continue “for several days in this that it takes to remove this threat.”
The attack came after the increasing tensions that prompted the United States to withdraw some diplomats from the capital of Iraq and provide voluntary evacuation of the families of the American forces in the broader Middle East.
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Israel had taken “unilateral action against Iran” and that Israel advised the United States that it believes that the strikes are necessary for self -defense.
“We are not involved in strikes against Iran, and our maximum priority is to protect the American forces in the region,” Rubio said in a statement issued by the White House, which warned Iran against targeting American interests or employees.
The attack comes at a time when tensions have reached new horizons on the nuclear program, which is rapidly advancing in Tehran.
The Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency for the first time in 20 years on Thursday supervised Iran because of its refusal to work with its inspectors. Iran immediately announced that it would establish a third site for enrichment in the country and exchange some centrifuges for more.
There are multiple reviews about the number of nuclear weapons that Iran can build, if it chooses it. Iran will need months to assemble and test any weapon, which he has said so far has no desire to do. The US intelligence agencies evaluate Iran does not have a weapons program at this time.
Brent raw jeweler rose on the news of the attack, nearly 5 % increased.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz said that his country had carried out the attack, without saying what it targeted.
“In the wake of Israel’s preventive attacks against Iran, missile attacks and drones are immediately expected against Israel and its civilians immediately,” he said in a statement.
The statement added that Katz “signed a special order to announce the state of emergency in the internal front.”
“It is necessary to listen to instructions from the leadership of the internal facade and the salads to stay in protected areas,” he said, “He said, he said,”
Iran, Israel, and Iraq closed with its weather areas.
As the explosions began in Tehran, President Donald Trump in the White House garden was mixing with members of Congress. It was not clear whether he was informed, but the president continued to shake hands and take pictures for several minutes.
Trump said earlier that he was urging Netanyahu to stop taking action at the present time while the administration’s negotiation with Iran.
“As long as I think there is (an opportunity to agree), I do not want to enter because I think that will explode,” Trump told reporters.
