Voice processing technology is one of the biggest changes, as 50R has a less sophisticated audio processor that lacks the spatial awareness that you get with the reinforcement of 300 and 500. 50R still has background noise features and speech priority features, but Jabra notes that it is more suitable for the most difficult environments than loud.
The difference in sound quality between 50R and 300 noticeable, although it is hardly deep. I have always admired the way the hearing devices in Jabra provide a nice natural batch to hear quality with the notification of the communication, and 50R is almost the same, free from whispering and comments, while providing organic improvement and connection in all kinds of environments, and even moderate crowd noise. But the sound is somewhat teaching and less three -dimensional from 300 or 500. I only discovered these differences due to years of experience in testing dozens of hearing models of different quality; Sometimes, the differences between them are very good. I did not find that 50R hearing devices are completely comfortable to wear for long periods of time like other hearing tools in Jabra, but again, this is an accurate and possibly distinctive result of a slight increase in weight.
Another stripped feature: Enhance Select 50R supports Bluetooth flow for calls and music, but it lacks hands -free communication features and Auracast support. This may not be a huge losing, as the flow on hearing devices is rarely fun. Finally, this is great, but the 50r hearing devices from Jabra do not include a battery powered cargo box. Jabra claims that 50R hearing devices provide operating time for 24 hours for full charge, which appears to be accurate based on my use during the test.
Many features remain as you will find in other Jabra models. Jabra enhances the Mobile App Select application in the same way with 50R hearing devices as you do with all JABRA products, and buyers who choose a $ 1,195 version of the 3 -year product from access to hearing in Jabra and covering the warranty. Jabra’s Enhance Select 300 runs, which is the best total audio aid, $ 1,695, and Jabra 500 is $ 1,995 (both with a three -year guarantee option). This is a big difference in prices, and it is tempting to suggest that it is worth saving $ 500 and dropping some of the features that you may not miss. Although 50R is a powerful product, I still feel that most users will be better presented-and more strengthening in the future-by upgrade to the Mediterranean Jabra 300. The missing features and a slightly low quality of 50R may not be noticeable on the first day, but I think it will hit you in the end.
