A week before the election, Jennifer Rubin finally did the noble thing and quit her job The Washington Postand She announced that she would begin publishing Named The violatorand their motto is “Not owned by anyone” (ha!).
Why would anyone pay to read Jennifer Rubin rants about how immigration enforcement is ‘ethnic cleansing’But there’s a lid for every pot, you suppose.
One of the columns is the supposed “humor column” by Andy Borowitz and His debut was, in a word, lackluster.
We regret to inform you that the situation has not improved.

amazing.
This is so… lame.
lol they got BOROWITZ?
Literally the most bizarre humor columnist in American history
It’s not that he lacks intelligence, it’s that he can’t write…all his jokes seem designed to make people say “yeah, we get that!”
– Podge (@podgenet) January 21, 2025
It’s just boring and unoriginal.
As burwiti as ever.
– AmishDude (@TheAmishDude) January 20, 2025
Borowitz seems to have a brand.
This brand is not funny.
This is unfortunate.
– Florida Dad (@FloridadadD) January 20, 2025
Most unfortunate.
They couldn’t even photoshop something clever.

Oh.
You really don’t appreciate how hard it is – comedy is really hard, especially when reality keeps choosing the most entertaining outcome.

exactly.
Truth is stranger (and funnier) than fiction.
90% of their subscribers must be people who read for fun. This is good.
– Gruntdoc (@gruntdoc) January 21, 2025
Why pay when you can search The violator On X and mockery for free?
All the comics I know are liberal. Every comedy writer I know is also a liberal (not counting anyone here, I mean those I already know).
How could they be so bad at that?
– mike.xnx.tracy (@miketracy) January 21, 2025
Because their politics prevent them from actually being funny.
Are you not entertained? https://t.co/xMrInhOo0k

We are not.
Andy Borowitz has reached a new level of human consciousness. https://t.co/rjR4SF682J
– Jarvis (@jarvis_best) January 20, 2025
His sense of humor was surgically removed.
There was a time in media when few things were more painful than the frequent reminder that Borowitz earned his salary from the space formerly occupied by James Thurber. https://t.co/OzN4o0b9it

Yes.
get it? Because um… they held the inauguration inside? And…and Elon Musk makes Cybertrucks? https://t.co/B1jZVkUxvv

Real knee, that.
What’s less funny: Robin’s incongruous Jane or Ben Collins’ onion? https://t.co/KZql13PcvF
– Brett from Los Angeles (@ItsBrettFromLA) January 21, 2025
Onions, because it was actually funny at one point.
Robin is just lame.
