From NSA Mike Waltz:
“Today, President Donald J. Trump and his private envoy Steve Wittouf can announce that the Master Witkev leaves the Russian airspace with Mark Fujel, an American who has been detained by Russia. This is a goodwill from the Russians and a sign that we move in the right direction to end the brutal and terrible war in Ukraine. President Trump will continue until all Americans will be returned to the United States.
Fogal was arrested in August 2021 to enter Russia with a small amount of medical marijuana that had a prescription.
The details of the administration’s deal to secure the Mark version were not released, but he is currently on a plane with a Steve Whitcop special envoy and on his way home.
