Judge denies Zakai Zeigler’s request for preliminary injunction allowing 5th season

A federal judge denied Thursday Tenisi Point Zakay ZieglerRequest a preliminary judicial order that allows him to play the fifth season of basketball in the first section five years ago.
The American boycott judge, Catherine A. Cryrazer to the arguments in a June 6 hearing in Noxfille and her denial entered Thursday morning. She wrote that Zeigler failed to prove that it is likely to succeed in his argument that NCAa prevents him from playing the fifth season of basketball in the first section is a violation under Sherman’s law.
“This court is a legal court, not a policy,” Craretzer wrote, by this, denies the irony. “What NCAA should do as a political issue in favor of athletes is far from the reach of the Shaerman and TTPA law and thus, this court.”
The defensive player of the Southeast Conference twice a year requested a judicial order when he filed a lawsuit against NCAA on May 20 because of his bases that limit him to four seasons in a five -year window as illegal restrictions for trade under both federal laws and Tennessee.
A lawsuit argues that it can earn between $ 2 million and up to $ 4 million with another season. His lawyers explained that this is just a first step in this legal battle.
“We felt disappointed, and the court refused to give a preliminary judicial order on the basis that NCAA does not directly control compensation, just days after confirming the settlement of the house that it would do so exactly,” according to a statement issued by Litson Plc and Garza Law Firm.
“This ruling is just the first chapter of what we believe will be a successful challenge. We intend to move forward and evaluate the best path in front of Zakai.”
The judge wrote that Hares Ziegler argues that he would suffer from the future damage award.
She also pointed to “the fixed number of the list of the list” for each basketball team in the first division and that “the irritable matter will face the risk of hurting the players currently committed to the university and the elderly in the current high school.”
NCAA argued in its summary before the session that Al -Zaghri’s request should be rejected for Zaghil because he is asking the court to make him the first athlete in history to play a fifth season in the first section “for the right.”
During the session, the judge asked Ziegler’s lawyers to submit a quick summary to answer whether Ziegler is a “athlete among colleges” as specified under the state law and what is the legal standard that applies to Ziegler’s claim under the Tennessee Practical Law.
