On the cover of the February 3, 2025 issue, artist Kader Nilsson depicted the emotions he experienced when he startled a flock of pigeons while walking downtown. “I felt that drawing birds in flight could invoke a message of hope and serve as a call for creativity and positive action,” Nelson said.
