Kyle Larson ready for hectic May: ‘Nobody races as much as me’

Kyle Larson Serious when he says that May is not feverish as one thinks.

Of course, Larson’s definition of feverish animals may be slightly different from the medium race driver.

Let’s take a look at the Larson race for the first two weeks of this month, which includes a second attempt in Indianapolis 500 (Sunday, May 25 at 10 am EST on Fox):

May 1: It ends in the ninth enemy race for the high race (the series that he participated in the TEXAS Motor Speedway Dirt Track

May 2: xfinity TMS qualifiers (rain)

May 11: The cup race in Kansas Speedway.

May 12: The maximum race in Cocomo, Indiana

-13-18 May: Indy 500 Practice then Indy 500 qualifiers on the Indianapolis Road Road

May May 25: Indy 500 then Coca-Cola 600

Larson said: “Everyone thinks that it is like the back every day, but frankly it facilitates a schedule as I get throughout the year because I was not in a place for six days in a row,” Larson said. “So, really, really nice.”

Larson, who spoiled his attempt in Indie 500-Cook 600 last year due to the rain that delayed the Indianapolis race and has never been unparalleled in 600, has spoiled that the NASCAR race would take precedence over the weekend if there is any delay.

But a slight surprise in scheduling is the potential conflict between the Indianapolis 500 pole qualifiers and the Naskar race all the stars.

Last year, the “Fast Six” session (where the fastest six-drivers on the pole on their first rows) ended at 5:55 pm East time, which gave Larson a wide time to reach North Carolina to attend the All-Star event, which was initially late for 15 minutes to 8:30 pm to make sure that Larson had had enough time.

The six-year session this year is an hour, from 6: 25-6: 55 pm Each time, which makes almost impossible to reach the north of Wilkesburo. If Larson makes the six fasting-and this is a great matter if it is-he will have to choose between the race of all the stars (he is not required to compete in it, but it is possible that the team is not able to replace a driver) or not publish time in the six fasting and the start of Indianapolis 500 at the sixth.

“I think I will miss the six fasting and go to the race of all the stars,” Larson said. “It is important to race. It is a lot of money at stake.

“Certainly it would be great if you have the opportunity to get the pole, but I prefer the race for a million dollars [at the all-star event]I think, and start the sixth. You really don’t know how to go. We have to make sure that our car is fast enough even to worry about all of this. “

Since Larson has a feverish schedule, he does not sweat any cruelty of logistical services for this month.

“No one is racing as much as I am, so I think something can be said to that,” Larson said. Also, when I do not race, I try to stay physically active and exercise, do these things and try to eat somewhat healthy.

“This may be difficult at times. I feel satisfied with the place where I am.”
