Lenovo’s Yoga Solar PC concept laptop can be charged by the sun

Lenovo has announced a laptop computer in a new concept in the Congress Mobile World Church that encourages you to work abroad by reducing your dependence on power cables. Yoga Solar PC is an early evidence on a concept device that features a solar panel built into the laptop cover. Light can make fun of any source to increase its battery, but as with most solar powered devices, you will get the most energy while working abroad on a clear sunny day.
The light absorption panel in Yoga Solar PC consists of 84 solar cells characterized by the design of the rear contact cells. All brackets are located in the plate and electrical connections that collect and transfer the energy that is created behind the solar cells. The front part of the plate is able to capture more light, allowing Lenovo to achieve a transformation rate – the amount of sunlight captured to useless electricity – by more than 24 percent.
This is more efficient than most of the silicone -based solar panels used in consumer electronics today, but behind it a little Panels include an additional layer of Perovskite at the top It can enhance the absorption of light and efficiency to up to 43 percent. Even efficiently 24 percent, Lenovo says the yoga solar energy plate “can absorb and convert adequate solar energy from direct sunlight in 20 minutes to play up to one hour of video playing.” The company says it still evaluates the amount of energy produced in low light conditions.
Supported from the Intel Lake associated with 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage, the thickness of the personal computer in the yoga with a thickness of 15 mm and weighs about 2.29 lbs with the 14 -inch OLED screen. To help make sure that users are able to benefit better than the light available to them – whether inside or outside – the laptop will also be distinguished by the dynamic solar system tracking software from Lenovo that shows the amount of the voltage produced by the solar panel.
For current yoga laptop users who want to reduce their battery anxiety while touching the grass, Lenovo also revealed the concept of external solar energy kit. It is an independent solution that opens like a book to detect a pair of solar panels side by side that can be attached to the backpack or stand alone with Rikstand Tai. It can connect and deliver energy to a device using a USB-C cable, or sunlight can be used to charge an guaranteed electric bank that can operate other devices later. But Lenovo has not announced plans to put in production yet.
Lenovo invented the concept of “bridging the gap between function and environmental awareness”, giving users easy access to an alternative power source. You will need to cooperate for the weather for a period of time to charge the whole yoga computer with a relatively small solar plate, but this may be a welcoming obstacle when the power outlet is not in an accessible place.
